During this time of uncertainties, we get to see how our community shows up for each other. Many businesses have been hit hard from the pandemic and some have not been able to recover resulting in closing down their business - Sew Clean Dry cleaning / Alteration was one of them. After 10 years of business, the Tang family had to close their doors. The family decision was unanimous as the business had already been impacted by the diagnosis of one of their precious family member, 5 year old Shyla. Every chance she got, Shyla would be at the shop greeting customers and making them smile. When Shyla died on December 18th, 2019, the family had been looking for ways to honor her memory which is how Shyla Spreads Hope was create. It began as a fundraiser among family and friends and soon after London Drugs stepped in and offered to support the cause. London Drugs has dedicated space to help local businesses sell their products and support fellow Canadians as they have been for many years. London Drugs is a testament to the power of people and community.
